Ordering Process

The simplest way to start the process is to place your order online through our website.

If you are buying a ring then please don’t worry about sizing yet as we’ll send a ring sizer along with your Ashes Collection Pack.

The Ashes Collection Pack contains:

Order Confirmation Form – where you can confirm the details of your order, including ring size, colour(s) and engraving message.
Small wooden spoon
Plastic zip bag with label and velvet pouch
Ring sizer
Prepaid Special Delivery Return Envelope

Once we receive your ashes we’ll send you an email confirming safe receipt and start creating your jewellery.

We’ll keep you up to date with the progress via email and once your jewellery is ready we’ll post it to you using Royal Mail Special Delivery. A signature will be required.

Silver pieces take 2-3 weeks. Gold pieces 6 weeks, as these have to be individually hallmarked.

For your peace of mind your jewellery will be posted to you in an unbranded postal bag. Inside the bag will be a presentation box keeping your jewellery safe and a Certificate of Authenticity along with any unused ashes.

Opals & Ashes are very proud to be a Manchester based company.

If you live within the Greater Manchester area and are unsure about your ring size you can arrange for us to visit. We’ll measure your ring size and collect the ashes of your loved one.

Bespoke – Two Colour Inlay with Diamond
Our customer wanted a design that incorporated two colours
set with a diamond from an earring that was a gift from his mother.
We created a tapered ring with two channels, incorporating a
space on the top to set the diamond.
The channels were filled with ashes blended with Ruby Red
and Pearl White Opals and the ring was cast with our customers 9ct Rose Gold.
